Description

Collaborative Creativity: How and when to be creative in the workplace

Join the Women's Business Network, presented by FCBank, for our May luncheon featuring Lee Ann Lander.

Lee reminds us that we are not alone in this journey. Collaboration becomes our ally. She will share great stats about creativity in the workplace, along with ways you can incorporate collaborative creativity in your team immediately.

Nonprofit Partner: Work Family Balance

Work Family Balance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dublin, Ohio that's on a mission to address poor work life balance in the workforce and increase working parents' work life balance for greater health and happiness. The organization focuses on parent comprehensive health and children's comprehensive development, ages 0-12. With both in-person service programming and advocacy for better public policies, Work Family Balance hopes to make it easier for parents to balance work and family.

Amanda Rowoldt is the Founder & Executive Director of Work Family Balance. She is the proud mother of two boys, ages 6 & 9, a cancer survivor, former small business owner, and public policy professional with experience working on Capitol Hill with both Republican and Democratic members of Congress. Amanda is interested in helping parents address the most common negative emotions they experience (stress, guilt, frustration, anxiety, and loneliness), so parents can be the best they can be at work and at home with their families.

MEET LEE:

Lee Ann Lander is an artist, author, teacher, teambuilder and composer living in Galena, Ohio. She spent many years in the corporate arena working in supply chain development and quality management mainly at BMW Manufacturing in SC, and Thirty-one Gifts Corporate, before she pursued creative endeavors full time. She is now the founder of several small businesses and partnerships.

Though she has many creative outlets, the underlying theme to all of them is collaboration and creativity. Her main purpose is to help people find the beauty in the ordinary, in life, in themselves and to help remind people just how wildly creative they really are.
