Brews, Blankets, Big Impact 

We’re thrilled to join forces with both the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce and Small Biz Cares for a fun, unique volunteer event – “Bourbon, Brews & Blankets Challenge” at Zaftig Brewing Company & Taproom, sponsored by Outreach Promos. Register here.

Come out on September 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a networking happy hour with a twist. Our friends at My Very Own Blanket are throwing up a challenge for SBC, the two chambers and our networks throughout Central Ohio to come together and see how many no-sew fleece blankets we can make in one afternoon for Ohio’s foster youth. 

The Challenge 

The project is fun and simple – you don’t have to be crafty or know how to sew! Your $20 registration includes a blanket kit and supplies. Our friends at My Very Own Blanket will be on site and have everything set up for a full crafting takeover at the brewery! Additional blanket kits may be purchased in advance if you’d like to make more than one or sponsor a senior blanket project- all unfinished kits will be made and donated on your behalf by residents at an area senior living facility. Bring your entire team for a great team-building opportunity!
